a thousand times over.
2:52 AM i think today has been a rather weird day. i did a lot of things that i havent quite done before in the past 16 hours that i've been up. i watched yet about old american movie, roman holiday, starring audrey hepburn(yes, the same pretty lady again). and she's probably the reason how i knew about the movie. and it's so wonderful how the ladies in the show speak in such a nonchalant manner and how all the guys in the show sound so much like they're reciting lines from a documentary. the movie's quite nice, a little laid back and corny. the movie began with a paramount news report and it was so corny and old fashioned that i thought that it was part of some advertisement before the movie really started. but audrey hepburn is so pretty in the show! but she looks more like a girl in this show as compared to the pretty lady in breakfast at tiffany's! yes, im very into old american movies now. oh, and i left the house really early for work! (; am proud of myself, but i got to work at the same time, -.- not so proud of myself anymore. because of the cny jam, everyone's chionging to everywhere to bai nian. hence, i wasn't early for work AT ALL. =p irritating. and during dinner, i wanted to go get some dinner from the ntuc upstairs (2 levels above the clinic). and on my way, i realised that the bookstore was open. and i wanted to get the novel for breakfast at tiffany's, but apparently it's sold out. and the lady at the bookstore started chatting with me about books and them being turned into movies. hahahaha, i wldnt have imagined myself chatting with a bookstore lady about books and movies, but it was quite interesting. and we quite agreed that there hasnt quite been a novel so well illustrated by a movie that we find the movie a better catch than the book itself. and i bought yet another novel! kite runner! (: and i've read part of it already, it's really quite nice (((((: finally, back at home after a day of work. and whilst talking to some friends, i found out about certain stuff i've never noticed or paid much attention to before. and maybe those things are actually pretty impt. nvm, things will be good the way they are, at least for now. |
