nobody knows.
10:40 PM wheee. it's been a long time since i've blogged. and that explains why this post is so image heavy. i havent uploaded any photos in EONS! hahahass. one happy day in school and lilian was playing with my phone's camera, hence she took photos of the 3 guys at lunch. and we played scrabble after school! and i so totally suck at scrabble and lil's real good at it! =x  and this is us! the anat grp before and after pbl. we lunched at coffee grds(the sucky med fac cafe that gave zhenwei diarrhea once) and we had dinner at ajisen ramen where the mad pple challenged one another to the volcano ramen and peis, the hum one, took the pork curry ramen!  and dndd!!!! rockstar supernova. it really rocked! no one died, no one fell off the stage, the stage skirting didnt fall off, no one dripped wax onto the carpet and no one had no food to eat! so it was a great success! =DDDD and this is the dnd committee. (some of the guys had really really weird spiky dragonball boy hair, =x) and this is the preps before dnd and morning after in our room! =DDDD the words were for the med king and queen sashes that we diy-ed, and the free arena passes! arena is the new CLUB!! not the swimwear company alrights! kenneth was like huhh, go down to arena? what are they going to sponsor you? swimwear? or goggles arh? oh my gosh!! =pppp huipei and sam packing goodie bags and our hotel room in oriental!  and our ballroom and the preps before dnd! table seating/ballroom overview(prettiness!)/table setup/cupcakes from sam the boss/ballloon decor/lucky draw prizes.  the photos from the event itself! damian/yijing/huipeiz! the catwoman!/kenneth and mat!/yaochen the ghostrider/joel the medking cum duckie!/mandy, sam and enlai/ mandy yap/ mat yeo.  jianli/yilin!/denise/zhiyong! the bambam!!!hahaha/matin! the sexy arab/jonk! mr photographer!/yanyi! ms wonderwoman/kenneth, mr headache that night/woochiao! mr ge tai hahahaa. i took around 170 photos for dnd, it will be total madness to upload all of them! so these are the only some of them! i took so many many many more pretty photos! and i uploaded somemore into facebook alr! =DDDDDSaturday, August 18, 2007
banging on a heart of tin.
1:32 AM hahahas, i just read damian's awe-inspiring list of what he did this week. makes me so inspired to get one done too. so, in the first official week of being an M2, 1. i managed to be late for almost every single day. and i made mat wait for me and nearly cost him to be late on 2 of the 5 days, made lydia and her friend really late on one of the days, skipped the first lecture on the other day, and that makes 4 days alr. and i was late on monday too. so ermmm, my new watch doesnt really work on me. 2. when my patho tutor walked into class today, the first comment i uttered was, he's not cute. and i hope he didnt hear that, and the next thing i did was to fall asleep. and i think i got caught by him, like damian got caught for rolling his eyes at the tutor, and we had to answer questions. and zhenwei, in a bid to save me from a question that i didnt know the ans to, got sabo-ed by me and had to answer the question instead. and so, sighsss. =*((((( 3. hohoho, i bought my texts, FINALLY. and i got stuck at yunnan, chatting with the auntie for like 20 odd mins. and crap, mama robbins won't come in till sept or somewhere ard there. there goes my patho. =((((( 4. magazines are heavy, i mean real heavy. esp when we saikang and transport 450 mags from one place to another, it sucks. reminds me of the logs saikanging we had during medicamp. just that this was slightly better. 5. i saw more than 5 mini coopers this week. and they're like the new love of my life. i will scrimp, save and mug hard so that i earn enough to buy myself one, one fine day. how cute can they get! =DDDDD 6. COFM lectures are good for sleeping, dont even bother to come to school. they suck and they waste my precious time. grrrrrrrrr. the cofm lecturers are either boring or egoistic. 7. i have beta-hemolytic hands too. hahahahas. but i dont have killer hands like damian does. and mandy yap has got a v dirty 3rd finger, michelle says its because she uses it too much, which is kind of hilarious. =x 8. i fell asleep in a movie AGAIN. and both the 2 pple sitting beside me noticed that i was 'immobile for a while'. those were the exact words used to describe me. grrrrr.zhiyong realised that i wasnt moving nor laughing at funny parts. fine, i will try not to sleep in movies anm. well, i didnt fall asleep during the secret. =D 9. we shld all go earlier histopath to eliminate the risk of having to climb the stairs of the cofm block, it sucks to climb 5 storeys of stairs after lunch. and i only ate yoghurt before that. i shld have eaten chicken chop with lilian if i had known that i was going to climb the stairs. =x 10. yawns. sleep is REALLY impt. and LT 28's quite a comfy place to fall asleep in. when my notes are not filled, that means im off to bed. =x so, m2 started. week 1's really really tiring but kind of fun. im tired, sleepy, and falling sick and it's quite good that school has started and im still pretty much enjoying what im doing. minus the silly cofm lectures bit. =DDD Wednesday, August 15, 2007

maybe when time goes by, i'll understand. let's pretend that life moves on then i'll tell myself that life goes on. -i run away. i heard this song in a shop today! it's been so long that i cldnt figure out the title of the song. it's a v nice song by britney. she doesnt sing like this, or sing at all these days. she's like ermmmm. hahas. but this is a really nice song. =D AND! i went for ALL the lectures today!! aren't you proud of me! i havent started the ponning regime yet. =DDDD woww! and i went for PCR labs, i've always heard of PCRs in year 1 during biochemistry, but never really got to figure out what it is like and how it works. and today i did! we all did, and it was quite fun. the lab seems so cool, with micropipettes and little bins for biohazards! so cute! i took a photo of it! =D Sunday, August 12, 2007
running on empty.
2:36 AM i was trying to be hardworking, so i decided to go to mednet and ivle to look for my notes to print them. and GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, there are NO NOTES AT ALL. those lecturers are insanely smart, i cant locate a single set of lecture notes! and i give up!!!! they dont know how to use ivle and mednet to UPLOAD their notes before lecture, like over the weekend so that students, like us, can go download them and print them!! argh. dont this year's notes look like last year's? can they upload it earlier? GRRRR. /edited. i give up on printing my notes, i shall just go a little earlier on monday to zap someone else's. and im still contemplating to pon the patho lecture on monday morning, since it's the only useful one. but see, then i'll have nothing to do from 9am-2pm while waiting for microb lab, so i shld just pon all the morning lectures and come for lab =D, this thought makes me happier. maybe i'll do just that. yayyys. and! i think i shld stop wishing my friends good luck for driving. maybe i kind of jinx them in the process. they failed =((((, i shldnt say anything to mat when he goes for his manual driving test next wed, haha and i'll see what happens, i dont mean to be evil, but it might work!! 10:16 PM grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, holy crap. school starts in less than 10 hours. oh gosh, i bet i wont be able to get to bed tonight. no, im not hyped up about the new school year, im just too used to sleeping at 4am in the morning and getting up at noon. yus was asking me when am i not ponning school tmr. you know, it's not that nice to pon school right at the start of the academic year, day 1 to be specific. so i guess i'll go tmr, but i might not be on time. im LAZY. YAWNS. hahahahas. i am starting to dislike mednet, ivle, nusmail and all sorts of stuff to d/l notes. all the lectures dump the notes in different places and in different forms. how grosss. ewwwwwwwww. the secret.
3:52 PM yea. i caught the show yesterday with gwen, mins and rj! it's a pretty nice show with a great twist! go watch it and find out what's the secret. it was like woww, i didnt know nor did i expect it. so it wasnt that bad. =D and i got to meet rj. gwen and mins before school starts which is pretty good as well and we ate happy popcorn. =DDD gwen was happy that she's got the donut toy =D and i managed to get all 5 donuts in, without any water in the donut toy! boy! i was good!! =DDDD yeaaass. =DDD and there was a msg from the dean's office lady this morning, took me a while to figure out what's DO, it means dean's office. saying that school starts at 8am on mon instead of 0830, school just got worse, damn it. hahah and im supposed to bring my keepad, maybe i wont bring it. lest i lose it and lose 60bucks for nothing. no one will notice one less keepad and i bet that i wont be the only one without mine =DDD so that's pretty great. =DDDD and today's a great slacking day. i woke up at 2plus 3 in the afternoon, reading the 4 new smses on my phone, feeling happy that it's HOLIDAYS still. i wonder who wakes up this early to send me smses. maybe i'm just waking up a bit later than the rest. =D and i found an old cd on my cd rack. bardot, hahaha, i wonder how many pple remember this aussie girl band. they were from some talent scouting show on chnl 5 many years back, when i was in lowersec, called popstar. i remember there was a blondie, who reminds me of izzie stevens. so i played their cd. and their songs are actually quite nice. those singalong friendlies and happy tunes for a happy wednesday afternooon =DD. this post is all so random about oh so many different things. =x i wont mind doing this everyday, all slack and no work makes peishan a happy girl. vanilla, strawberry and cream. or rather, raspberries in cream.
3:06 AM hmmm, i cldn't decide which of the 2 sounded tastier, vanilla, strawberry and cream or raspberries in cream. both sound sinfully yummie =D, so yeah. oh no, holidays are ending in a week, last than a week. school starts officially on friday. i wonder how many pple wld actually turn up on friday. hahah, i saw the new timetable alr, i was more interested in the mid sem break. and we're planning holidays. im either going off with cmc to phuket!(our long awaited coconut juice and sunny island getaway) or i will pester my parents to change their holiday location from taiwan to shanghai, i just went to taiwan, so it means they're not planning to bring me along, which is a major nononono. =DDD we shall see, school hasnt even started, =x. and holidays. this holiday has been a really long one. we barely spent ard 9-10mths mugging and we got 3 mths off. the only luxurious holidays we will ever get for the rest of our uni lives. =x which is kind of sad, but yea, it's nearly over. so we shld play our hearts out for the remaining 4 days. =DDDD and i did many many many things in this holiday. somehow, i feel that i did more in these 3 mths than i did over the prev 7 mths holiday. i went touring, like i did the prev time and i had a vacation job. which is pretty much the same place as the prev round too. i guess it's just that i made more friends over the year, spent more time hanging out with new friends and old ones. i really miss my old friends, i seem to see med pple 24/7 and see my older friends less and less and less. the last time i met up with sn girls was during beeks bday and that was in june, late june and it's alr early aug. and school's starting alr. sighss, this is quite bad. i shall meet them soon! and we had dnd auditions today. it was pretty interesting! it has to be! i gave up my long-awaited shopping trip with ade for this! some of the bands are really good =DDD pretty entertaining. =DD and the dnd committee is quite fun to hang out with. 99.999% of us are from the same anat grp, it's almost like an anat grp organised event! =D which is pretty fun as well, that reminds me! the anat grp is supposed to have a zoo outing! i still wanna see my polar bears, but i guess we wont get to go in the near future, unless we jostle our way through with the little kids on some weekend or pon school on some weekday. but no, it's insane to pon school for zoo, doesnt sound right at all, ponning school for sleep sounds good though, i think my bed sounds better than the lecturer in lt 28. =D i'll get my books soon. they keep getting sold out. everyone else has bought their books alr! but mama robins keeps getting sold out! not exactly my fault right. will do it soon, huipei needs her books too, maybe i'll go with her. and i'll go down for rag. i've only been down for rag ONCE, i feel quite bad. hahaha, but i bet sam hasnt gone down at all yet. =D but we're all busy with dnd =DDD it's a reason, not an excuse =D and the weird little things that i do, i discovered more. five. i wash my hands many many many times. so many times that my colleague thinks that i've got an ocd too. she keeps asking why do i wash my hands. did i handle something dirty or gross? i was like no, but i went into the doctor's room. yea, but it's not exactly a reason to wash my hands. so i shld stop washing my hands so often. six. i always get my mom to tape shows on tv for me but i nv ever watch them but i leave the tapes in my room. i have a tape of one of the episodes of the beginning, you know, that show from some time ago with felicia chin? yea. that's how long ago it was. =x Thursday, August 02, 2007
driving down the road alone.
6:54 PM my heart's drenched in wine, you'll be on my mind forever. something has to make you run, dont know why i didnt come. feel as empty as a drum, dont know why i didnt come. dont know why i didnt come. i, dont know why i didnt come. -norah jones. dont know why. yea. this is a nice song, on a nice, breezy thursday evening. i have nothing much to do today. there's rag and settlers with the m1s, but i didnt read the mail till 4pm today, i woke up at 4pm. how happy can that be. and by the time i get into holland v, the thingy will be over. i dont like holland v sometimes, it's so out of the way. i only know how to walk there after i drop from 105. and that's FREAKING far. hahaha. so i cabbed into holland v yesterday. =x and we had a sleepover at kenneth's on tue. i didnt take much photos, actually we took none. hahah, so i dont have anything to post up. and i kept losing daidee. so i kept downing bailey's with lydia. IT IS SO FATTENING!! and when lydia gets slightly drunk, she shuts up. and peishan is the exact opposite. i keep on talking trash and laughing and laughing and laughing and talking trash. but nothing like you know you really suck and i really hate you kind of thing came out. hahaha, it wont, at least not with cmc. haahahs. but it's fun! i guess it's prob the last sleepover before sem starts. which reminds me. sem starts on next fri. i only have exactly one more week to play, thats excluding the time that dnd will eat up. dnd is kind of fun to plan but kind of stressful at times too, esp with irritating pple who dont know how to register properly. i think sam's having a bigger headache than i am. she has to do everything, literally, EVERYTHING. =x and i really hope that m2 will be fun. med is insanely stressful. but it's quite fun, i am kind of enjoying this. and we all have 1 year till the start, or rather end, or next stage of our lives begin. so this 1 year is for PLAYING =DDDD and i really wanna play a LOT a LOT before clinicials kick in! and i met colina, erica and charmaine on wednesday, for a nice cosy lunch and a little bit of shopping. which reminds me, i havent replied erica's sms. hahaha those 3 girls are so cute. we bitch about anything on earth, from ntu halls, to nus halls to govt hosp to lousy lecturers. it's all so random but so totally fun! =DDDD and we shld meet up more, instead of like once every sem break. haha. which is kind of far apart. yayys, i shld try and plan outings for us next time =DDDD

1:25 AM im waiting for greys right now. on chnl 5. im sure i have the episode somewhere, but i wanna watch it on tv. it's much clearer, and it's my favorite-est greys episode. i love izzie, i love her character, and who is she, and what she does. and maybe because her life's not exactly the best a hot blondie can get. her patient refuses to let her into the operating threatre because he saw her in a lingerie ad, and her love of her life dies, which prob wasnt her fault, but kind of her fault. and he died less than 24hours after he asked for her hand. and they were like woww, the couple. and she falls in love with her bestie, who the hell does that, but she did, and apparently, he seems like he does as well, but he, the silly cute man, cant seem to speak properly nor do the right thing nor make a right decision, and makes her go in rounds and rounds and rounds. and since a babe can have this sort of sucky life, it makes me feel better that my life sucks, sometimes. not always. =D and this is really random. i was thinking about the silly little things i think i did, but no one really knew about. one. i have an ocd for combing hair. i comb my hair anytime, anywhere. not exactly that but i do comb my hair many times a day. and i think my hair's always messy. two. i eat my nuggets in a weird way. i eat all the skin off before eating the meat inside. damian thinks that im gross and huipei was appalled when she saw what i did. but hey! im not the only one who does that okay! three. i hate it when my alarm clock goes. it's not the usual thing, but i really really really hate it. it's different my dad wakes me up and when the alarm sounds. my day is usually bad when the alarm wakes me up, it irks me A LOT. four. i have 3-4 pairs of specs, when i dont really need them to see things really clearly, i only use them when im using the comp for really long hours, but i have many many pairs of specs because i, 1. misplace them, 2. squash them, 3. do some weird things with them till they're unwearable. five. hahaha, i cant think of anymore for now. wake up and smell the coffee.
10:22 PM sometimes, i will think that my life sucks. i have terrible timetables and little shopping times and little sleeping time without the ideal holiday plan or the ideal holiday job. but then again, i think it's not all that bad, when i looked at the things around us. i was on my way home today and gwen sent me an sms, about the korean hostages. they're poor innocent pple, kind of awaiting death. all thanks to those scary pple who captured them. which is really sad. no one wants to die, not in that manner, at even be captured by those scary pple. and it's so sad to hear the news and hear that they're dying one by one. sighs. and i was on my way to work on monday morning. monday blues. and i was stoning on the bus ride to work when most pple started looking out of the window, so kaypoh shans joined them. and i realised that there was a fatal accident at one of the road junctions. the cyclist was involved in some road traffic accident with a taxi and another car. which was kind of sad, that was a police tent, that means someone didnt make it through the accident. and who wld have expected that to happen. who had been reckless and who made that mistake to cause the accident didnt really matter anymore, what really mattered was that someone actually perished in the accident. that was really a sad thought for a early monday morning. so i was thinking. maybe our lives arent always that bad. maybe we shld smile a little more at our slightly happy lives, maybe smiling will make it even happier. =D |
