and my brother graduated! the 2nd lao ren jia in the family finally graduated after 4 years of slogging in nus. my eldest brother, sis in law and i tried all ways and means to get into the ucc proper to attent the commencement ceremony(we had 2 pathetic tickets and 5 pple wanting to attend the ceremony). so we climbed up and down up and down the stairs of ucc many many times trying to gatecrash the event. but apparently, they have wisened up since my eldest brother/sis in law's time! most of the gates were guarded and they checked the tickets and punched holes in all of them and gave everyone inside return slips instead of using the tickets. so it's pretty hard to gatecrash. and we nearly resigned to our fates and went to the viewing gallery with the sad tvs. BUT!! finally, we managed to get in!! yayys, hoorays. and we managed to watch from inside with all the nice balloons and streamers falling everywhere and see our brother graduated and take his scroll from the presiding officer! i think it's kind of cool. and i didnt manage to attend my other brother's commencement a couple of years back. and thinking back, if i had the choice, i wld have wanted to attend his commencement too! (i think i had school back in jc/sn then, so i cldnt skip school for this, i wld have wanted tothough) its quite a cool thing, so see your sibling finally finish school and feel that sense of achievement. =DDD so we took photos, im swear my dad doesnt know how to use my camera! the kind of photos he took looks kind of misty and haze-like. and ermmm, haha, me and my brother were like semi jaw drop when we were looking at the photos at home! hahahaha, which is pretty amusing =DDD and we had yummie family dinner buffet, which was happy food!! with the happiest yummiest durian pudding to top it off. the durian pudding made the whole buffet extremely. so. very. worthit!!! im definitely going back there again for more durian pudding!! yummie yum yum =DDD i didnt take any photos of the pudding because it looks way better than it tastes!! =DDD
